Golf Course
The Developer
The developerʼs experience in crafting similar projects includes the Cimarron Golf
Resort in the Palm Springs area of California. The Cimarron Golf Resort has won many
awards, including being picked by Golf Digest as one of their “Best Places to Play” in
2002 and 2003.

Although the Cimarron Golf Resort is a destination facility, it demonstrates the highest
level of quality land development. The Cimarron Golf Resort project had many similar
deliverables as is present in the development of the Lakes of Muirfield.
Muirfield Land Corp has gathered up a highly professional and highly experienced team
of resources to plan, construct and operate the Lakes of Muirfield project. These
resources include Newis-Wilson Golf Course and Subdivision planners. They have a
reputation for innovation and quality in their designs, and have had a presence in the
Western Canadian and Californian marketplaces for many years.
Playing The Lakes of Muirfield
The experience that you will have golfing The Lakes of Muirfield will be unlike any
youʼve experienced before. Beautiful views, gorgeous homes and a game that is suited
to both the high handicap golfer and the aspiring pro alike. This 6100 yard long, Par 70
golf course navigates through a number of water features, including many ponds, the
WID canal and a babbling creek.
95% of golfers are higher handicap, and this has been taken into account by the golf
course design firm, Newis Wilson Design. While being a full-length set of golf links with
all the aesthetics of an exclusive championship course, the design allows this majority
public to score well.
For those who like more challenge in their game, the black tees (furthest back) will
provide an experience to be remembered.
This is a walking friendly course by design, to accommodate those who are looking to
get out in the fresh prairie air and make the most of their day on the links. Many are
adopting healthy lifestyle choices, and The Lakes of Muirfield is a great place to take full
advantage.
